Aug. 28, 2007 – Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., St. Croix Alumnae Chapter, will be registering young ladies ages 10 -14 to participate in its Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy. Registration will take place between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 15.
The theme for this year is "Learn Today: Build Bridges to Tomorrow" and will include presentations and discussions on team building, improving study habits, arts and crafts, modeling and field trips among a long list of activities. The group will meet from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., each Saturday, at the Delta Academy located at Juanita Gardine Elementary School.
