Alert: Evans Highway Work Slated for Tuesday, Wednesday

Sept. 14, 2007 — Drivers are urged to proceed with caution along Route 66-Melvin Evans Highway Tuesday and Wednesday when Department of Public Works crews install pavement markings.
In a statement Thursday, Public Works Commissioner Darryl Smalls said the work will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should be ready to follow all detour signs and traffic control directions.
