Fathers and Sons Workshop Will Take Place

St. Croix Vocational School at the Educational Complex Parent Advisory Committee will sponsor an all-day workshop for male students and their male caregivers. This workshop, entitled "Men's Carousel," is presented as a father and son event, but attendees do not have to have a biological relationship. The men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. have volunteered to serve as surrogate fathers for the day. It will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 1, at the St. Croix Career and Technical Education Center.
Additionally, students who participate in the Men's Carousel will earn eight hours of community service time. This is a great opportunity for male bonding. PAC members Clifford Cuffy and Bert Benjamin are the coordinators for the Carousel. Great door prizes, fun activities, skills training, breakfast and lunch, and much-needed information will be shared.
For information, contact Caroyln McKenzie or Cenita Heywood at 778-2216.
