Workshops Offered on Grant Writing for HUD Programs

Dec. 4, 2007 – The Methodist Training and Outreach Center Inc. and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in conjunction with the V.I. Alliance Against Homelessness, Continuum of Care and the UVI Small Business Development Center will present a two-day Grant Writing Workshop. The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 11 and 12, at the UVI-SBDC Training Facility, Nisky Center, Suite 720, St. Thomas. Admission is free; however, pre-registration is required.
Everyone who attends this workshop is guaranteed to have the minimum tools to prepare and write a proposal for any of HUD's Competitive, Discretionary, Block or Formula Programs. Participants must also be prepared to write a proposal for funds to any program offered by the federal, state, local government and/or private sector. This workshop has seven modules.
