Maho Bay Art Gallery Will Have Open House

Maho Bay Art Gallery, located next to its Pavilion Restaurant, will be selling art created on St. John. The January Open House will be held from 4:30-8 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 16. It will feature visiting artists. The restaurant serves delicious Italian dinner choices from 5:30-7:30 p.m., so visitors can visit the gallery and enjoy dinner as well.
Sean Monaghan will be visiting from Santa Cruz, Calif. to bring his artistic skills to the new Maho Bay Camps aluminum foundry. Maho has just added the melting of crushed aluminum cans to its "Trash to Treasure" program, which recycles waste into art.
Maho Art of Recycling Center will be selling an assortment of vases, bowls, glasses and art glass that have been created by its full-time hand blown glass artists. It will also have for sale batik and fabric home décor pieces and handmade paper. A wide assortment of ceramic functional art pieces will also be available from the artists at Maho Bay Clay Works.
