Clarence Alphanso Henry Dead at 79

Jan. 8, 2008 – Clarence Alphanso Henry of Estate Grove Place, Frederiksted, died on Jan. 4, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
He is survived by his daughters: Leona Henry-Smith, Marlene Henry, Olive Henry-Fergus and Beverly Henry-Richards; sons: Clarence Henry Jr. and James Henry; adopted daughters: Delores English-Edwards and Carloyn James-Valentine; adopted sons: Benjamin Mitchell, Errol Moore, and Franklin Bourin; and grandchildren: Cliffton, Clinton and Careem Smith, Tachonda and Tashaira Fergus, Nneka and Nailah Henry-Richards, Sheniqua, Masoy, Kamaria, Zaire, and Anaya Henry. He is also survived by adopted grandchildren: Amarae Blyden Richards, Maria and Khaleed Edwards; sisters: Ruth Henry-Gaymon and Rita Henry; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 11, at Friedensberg Moravian Church, No. 1 Mon BiJou. It will be followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
