Friends of Library to Feature Speaker

The Friends of Elaine I. Sprauve Library's encourages the public to attend its annual meeting at 5:30 p.m., on Friday, Feb. 8, at the library. It will include a brief annual review of the Friend's initiatives followed by a presentation by Gilbert A. Sprauve.
Sprauve is a native of the U.S. Virgin Islands and a retired university professor of modern languages. He will read a selection from his new book "Soundings over Cultural Shoal" as part of the library's ongoing Speaker's Series, after which he will be available to sign copies of his book, which will be available for sale. Light refreshments and informal discussion will follow his presentation.
