Feb. 27, 2008 – Gertrude St. Brice died on Feb. 19, at Schneider Regional Medical Center. She was 77 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Nacis St. Brice; daughters: Celina Ashly, Monica Smith, Una, Andrea and Ethna Ferguson; and sons: George and William Ferguson. She is also survived by brothers: Joseph, Leo and Francis Burton; sister, Justine Ferdinand; 23 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; friend, Alphonse Ashly, and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held from 10-11 a.m., on Saturday, March 1, at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, St. John, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Cruz Bay, St. John.
