The Ad Club will honor the winners of the ADDY Awards at its Red Carpet Dinner and Gala on March 15, at Marriott's Frenchman's Reef Beach Resort on St. Thomas. The Ad Club recognizes creative advertising excellence in the U.S.V.I. in all media: print, broadcast, multi-media, out-of-home and public service advertising. It will also honor Carver Farrow, principal of Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School, for his outstanding work in the field of education and public service. Project Safe Neighborhoods will receive special acknowledgement for its on-going efforts to reduce gun violence through their promotional and marketing campaigns.
The gala event will feature special guest, actor David Carradine along with his band, The Cosmic Rescue Team.
Tickets for the Addy gala are $125 and are tax-deductible. They will include a full buffet, wine and champagne.
