March 25, 2008 – John E. Henry of Estate Hannah's Rest died on Tuesday, March 18, at his residence. He was 85 years old.
He is survived by his daughter, Hilarie Henry; sons: Cordell, Rudyard, Omar, John, Radburn, Hillel and Orel Henry; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by special niece, Claudette Henry-Vanterpool; daughters-in-law: Alice, June, Karlene and Rhonda; son-in-law, Silvio; sister-in-law, Elida Powell; brothers-in-law: Leon and Alvaris Matthew; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held from 11 a.m. to noon, Thursday, March 27, at St. Paul's Anglican Church, followed by a funeral service at noon, at the church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
