April 15, 2008 – The public is informed of an extended route schedule that will be in effect for the week of Carnival. Vitran will provide extended service on St. Thomas from Monday, April 21 to Saturday, April 26, according to a press release from Department of Public Works Commissioner Darryl A. Smalls.
The bus service will include the following additional departures from the bus depot in Estate Contant:
1) Donoe/Hidden Valley—9:15 p.m., 11:15 p.m. and 1:15 a.m.
2) Old/New Tutu—9:05 p.m., 11:05 p.m., 1:05 a.m.
3) Bovoni—9 p.m., 11 p.m., 1 a.m.
4) Bordeaux/City—UVI (departure times are from the R.L. Schneider Medical Center)—9:10 p.m., 11:10 p.m., 1:10 a.m.
