Rosa Beryl Agatha Cromwell Dies at 85

April 19, 2008 – Rosa Beryl Agatha Cromwell, also known as "Mama," of Calquohoun died on Saturday, April 12, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 85 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Varsty Cromwell-Muhammed, Therdora Pompey, Hyacinth Cromwell-Isaac, Vilna, Curlita and Joan Cromwell; sons: Wilton, Errol, Nicholas, Ryford and Harvey Cromwell; 59 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and 9 great great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law: Rosa White-Crowell, Christophine-Cromwell and Pauline Saddler-Cromwell; sons-in-law: Terrance Isaac, Omar Muhammed and Bertran Pompey; special family friends: Yvonne Hodge, Ms. Quammie, and Jesse Celestine; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will take place from 10-11 a.m., on Thursday, April 24, at Way of the Cross Baptist Church, Estate Catharine's Rest. It will be followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery, St. Vincent.
