Kept Out of the Loop on Son's Murder Case

Dear Source:
My reaction to finding out that there was a hearing yesterday by reading the online paper The Source was blood pressure soaring, tears and outrage. Particularly because Attorney General Frazer and Commissioner McCall gave Jeffrey and I their word we would be informed of all court dates and any movement in the Murder Case of my son Jamie. Ironically, I called our victim advocate Ms. Leslye Webb on Monday and was told no court dates had been set and no movement has been made in the murder of my son. In all fairness to Ms. Webb her instructions were to forward information she received from A.A.G. Renee Gumbs-Carty. She had received no such information therefore she could not forward it.
I then called Assistant Attorney General Gumbs-Carty and left a message on her machine asking the same questions. I asked Gumbs-Carty to please return my call, mind you, this was Monday of this week. Well, no surprise she never returned my call. Today, Friday I find out by reading the Source that there was a pre trial conference yesterday and there has been another possible murder suspect identified. For sometime, I have been saying there were 4 murderers involved but no one paid any attention to me.
I called Renee Gumbs-Carty after reading the article to inquire why she did not return my call and why she did not inform the advocate of the up coming hearing. Gumbs-Carty answered her phone this time but without letting me say anything but good afternoon this is Jeanie Cockayne. I was quickly transferred to A.G. Frazer's line. He was not available and I am waiting for a call back. I was told it would be within 1/2 hour. Well, it is way past 1/2 hour and no return call.
Once again we have been left out of the loop for what reason I will never know because an explanation will never be given. Just as we never received an explanation as to why it took 3 months to pick up the get away car that was identified and located for the police just days after Jamie's brutal murder, no explanation at all. For those of you that have followed this case you know very well we have repeatedly requested that information and it has been denied.
Onto DNA evidence, if it takes 9-12 months to get DNA results from the F.B.I., it should be easy to get the results long before October and August also. Jamie was murdered on June 19, 2007 more than 10 months ago I don't need to do the math for anyone but August is 14 months since Jamie's murder and October is 16 months. So what is the issue? Obviously the issue is when was the evidence sent off island? Alas, it is doubtful that question will ever be answered either.
That sort of sums up my reaction, Jeanie Cockayne, still in the dark.
