Summer Camps and Programs for Young People

Here is a list of summer camps and organized activities available for children or young people in 2008. Please send information on your camps and activities, to offer parents a variety of choices. source@viaccess.net

Department of Housing, Parks and Recreation Hosts a Summer Camp on St. John

The Department of Housing, Parks and Recreation will conduct a summer activity camp, at Oppenheimer Beach on St. John, for youngsters 7-14 years old at the cost of $60 per child. The camps will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., June 23 through Aug. 1, on weekdays. Activities offered will include arts/crafts, indoor and outdoor games, beach/field trips, softball, volleyball and basketball.
Applications are available at the St. John Community Center until Friday, June 6. However, interested applicants are urged to apply as soon as possible.
