Inclusion, Not Exclusion

Dear Source:
It is with dismay and dread that I hear that Louis Farrakhan is invited to speak at the Legislature on May 22nd for African Heritage Week. I think it's important to learn just who suggested this hateful speaker for the occasion. Please tell me who in their right mind would want to invite this performance into our government offices of the Legislature? And we all know it will be a performance, inciting hate and racism against many people. Many of us have heard Louis Farrakhan speak against Jews, whites, Israel and others just because of who or what they are. I question the agenda of the person(s) that even thought of him as a speaker much less giving the invitation. We need to carry on a dialogue of inclusion, not exclusion. Where are these islands going? Backwards in my estimation. I offer my condolences right to the people that are in support of allowing and encouraging this hate-monger to grace our shores. I stand with the people that he will denigrate and shoulder-to-shoulder we will stand and not allow this to destroy our community for one minute.
