What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

June 11, 2008 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, June 15. This Sunday we will feature music by Kate Walsh, Downtown Mystic, Aimee Mann, Lil Ed and the Blues Imperials, Ella Fitzgerald, Harry Nilsson and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Tim's House" from rising, young, British artist Kate Walsh. Kate's CD is getting a lot of airplay from both commercial and non-commercial radio stations.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Read the Signs" from roots rock band Downtown Mystic. Two members of Bruce Springsteen's band make guest appearances on the CD.
We play new music from the Mother Truckers, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, I See Hawks in L.A., Allison Moorer and more.
We also include music from Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Aimee Mann, Drive By Truckers, the Platters, Natalie Cole, Lil Ed and the Blues Imperials, Cherry Holmes and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of Harry Nilsson, and Waylon Jennings. We also remember Ella Fitzgerald, on the anniversary of her death, and Richard Bell, formerly of the Band, on the anniversary of his death.

We give away a CD featuring a number of tracks from Harry Nilsson, and give away a CD from exciting new Blues artists Jason Ricci and New Blood, and Lou DeAdder.
