Kean H.S. Offers Summer Enrichment Program

June 14, 2008 – The Ivanna Eudora Kean High School will hold the Kids Energize at Nazareth Program 2008 Summer Institute from June 16 to July 22. The Institute targets incoming 9th grade students in the district as well as selected Kean High 9th graders who have scored below the 50th percentile on the IOWA Tests of Basic Skills, failed required classes, and are ineligible for summer school, according to a press release from Principal of Kean H.S. Sharon McCollum.
"The free summer institute focuses on jumpstarting the educational path of students toward academic gain for the upcoming school year and beyond," McCollum said.
Classes will be held from 8-11 a.m., Mondays through Fridays. For more information, contact the school at 775-6380.
