Unions Plan Town Meeting on Constitution

June 23, 2008 – The Virgin Islands Labor Union, V.I. Farmers' Cooperative Inc., United Caribbean Association and Union Members in Action invite the public to a town meeting on the Fifth Constitutional Convention of the V.I. It will take place at 3-6 p.m., on Saturday, June 28, at Freedom City, Frederiksted (across from Budhoe Park, next to UCA's building). Seats are limited.
The chairpersons of the convention want input from the community. They will take questions and suggestions on issues such as property taxes, the composition of the Senate, electing or appointing the attorney general, citizen rights and more.
