July 15, 2008 – The Virgin Islands Tennis Association (VITA) will participate in the American Zone IV Davis Cup Competition, which starts Tuesday, July 15, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The team consists of Kevin Motta, Christian Nelthropp, Kristepher Elien and Alric Plaskett, with John Wilkins as captain and George Lewis as the team official, according to a press release from William McComb, president of VITA.
The other competing teams are Haiti, Bermuda and Costa Rica. The top two teams will move up the American Zone III Competition next year.
