Head Start Schedules Parent Orientations

July 25, 2008 – District of St. Thomas-St. John
The Department of Human Services Head Start Program will be conducting its parent orientations for the parents/guardians of all new and returning students for the upcoming school year. The parent orientation dates are as follows:
Wednesday, Aug. 27
? Bergs Home/Bovoni I and II
? Minnetta Mitchell I, II, III, IV and V
? Lindbergh Bay
? Developmental Learning Center – Head Start Parents/Guardians only
at Department of Human Services, Sugar Estate Complex, located on First Avenue next to First Street in Sugar Estate
Thursday, Aug. 28
? Kund Hansen Complex I and II
? Savan
? Sugar Estate I, II, III and IV
? Tutu
? Wilhelm George I and II
at Department of Human Services, Sugar Estate Complex, located on First Avenue next to First Street in Sugar Estate
Friday, Aug. 29
?Cruz Bay Center
at Department of Human Services' conference room in Cruz Bay, St. John.
All sessions will take place between 10 a.m. and noon.
Parents and guardians of all new and returning students are urged to attend this very important meeting. There will be door prizes and representatives from a few of our community partners present to inform parents about their free services available to the public.
Free phone cards and T-shirts will be given to fathers who sign-up for the "Dial-A-Dad" program.
