Samuel O. Miller Dies at 72

Aug. 22, 2008 – Samuel O. Miller, also known as "Sammie Timmy lop, Pick it up," of Hermon Hill died on Aug. 12. He was 72 years old.
He is survived by his sisters: Elisa Miller and Sylvia Hodge; sister-in-law, Dorothy Miller; nieces: Dawn Brodhurst, Gloria Ritter, Joy Christian, Denise Edwards, Particia Mason, Arlene Miller, Pauline Hansen, Dianna Kelly, Michelle Peters, Millicent Miller, Colette David, Shermaine, Berisa, Ivina and Diana Miller, Michelle Bascombe, Jerraine Wynters, Delrose and Elizabeth Dawson; nephews: Andreas Oneal, Robert Christian, Keith, Rafael, Sean Miller, Edward McBean, Mario and Henly Mason, Gary Nicholas, John, Leal and Eleon Jr. Hodge. He is also survived by special friends: Claudette Petersen and Junior Clendinen; the Market Square gang; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The family requests that all those attending the funeral service wear cheerful colors.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m., on Friday, Aug. 22, at the James Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at the chapel. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
