Sept. 9, 2008 – There will be an orientation and open house for all St. Croix District public school Parent, Teacher Associations' and Parent, Teacher Organizations' officers held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the University of the Virgin Islands.
"This is the first in a series of regular meetings that will be held in each district to assist our membership with any concerns they may have, to share information and provide training," said Deborah Adams-Gonzales, interim president of the U.S. Virgin Islands Congress of Parents, Teachers, and Students Association Inc.
Adams-Gonzales said, "I look forward to full attendance by the district's PTA and PTO officers and an engaging meeting."
