Sept. 10, 2008 – The Rotary Club of St. Thomas Sunrise will hold its third annual golf scramble at 8:30 a.m., on Sunday, Sept. 14, at Mahogany Run golf course.
The tournament will benefit the Ron Magnuson Scholarship Fund, a scholarship that is awarded annually to a high school senior who has gained admission to the University of the Virgin Islands. The scholarship was established in honor of Magnuson, who was a great humanitarian and a charter member of the Rotary Club of St. Thomas Sunrise.
There will be two $10,000 hole-in-one opportunities. Raffle prizes will be given for local stores and restaurants, and a luncheon banquet will follow.
