Sept. 21, 2008 – The League of Women Voters, in conjunction with WTJX Public Television and AARP, will hold a "Meet the Candidate Program," an open platform whereby candidates for elected office are given an opportunity to state their positions on issues facing the people of the Virgin Islands.
The program will begin airing on WTJX from 8-9 p.m., every Monday and Friday, beginning on Monday, Sept. 15, each week until Monday Nov. 3.
