What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Sept. 23, 2008 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 28. This Sunday, we will feature music by Jakob Dylan, Elizabeth Wills, Sierra Hull, Asleep at the Wheel, Al Green, Norton Buffalo and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Seeing Things" by Jakob Dylan. The solo release from the son of Bob Dylan pairs Jakob with producer Rick Rubin and features a stripped down sound and intelligent new songs.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Fly" from singer-songwriter Elizabeth Wills, who will be appearing this weekend at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, giving her great exposure at one of the country's most prestigious festivals.
We play new music from Beth Wood, Band of Heathens, Sierra Hull, the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Revue and more.
We also play music from Asleep at the Wheel, Ricky Skaggs, Big Pete Pearson, Ellis Paul and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of blues great Koko Taylor, blues artist Norton Buffalo and Ben E. King.
We include music from Al Green, who will appear at the Reichhold Center on Oct. 11, and music from Harmony Dem, who will appear at October Sunday on Oct. 12. We also include music from Ruthie Foster, who will appear at Tillett Gardens on Dec. 3.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker, and by St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
