Sept. 28, 2008 – Repairs to an air-conditioning unit at the Schneider Regional Medical Center is taking longer than expected; therefore, V.I. Department of Health clinics will remain on a half-day schedule through Oct.10, according to a press release from DOH.
The Community Health, Dental and Immunization clinics have been operating from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. since Sept. 11, when an air-conditioning unit malfunctioned at SRMC, where the clinics are located.
Normal hours will resume on Monday, Oct. 13, and DOH regrets any inconvenience to clients, according to Health Commissioner Ebbesen-Fludd.
