Friends of Libraries Promotes Reading

Oct. 1, 2008 – The Friends of St. Thomas Public Libraries (FOSTPL) invites the public to be on the lookout for posters depicting its "Read a Book, Share its Treasures!" campaign. Funded by a grant from First Bank Virgin Islands, the posters portray community members of all ages sharing a classic fairy tale.
The posters are appearing in St. Thomas schools, day care centers and libraries, and in participating businesses. FOSTPL continues to advocate for the completion of the St. Thomas Regional Library and Records Center in Tutu and thanks all who have allowed the posters to be displayed. Read a book and share its treasures with your children, friends, family, colleagues or yourself today.
To sign up for FOSTPL's e-newsletter, join or volunteer, visit www.fostpl.org.
