What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Oct. 1, 2008 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 1-3 p.m., on Sunday, Oct. 5. This Sunday, we will feature music by B.B. King, Danielia Cotton, the Pete Best Band, Barefoot Davis, Ani deFranco and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "One Kind Favor," the new release from blues superstar B.B. King, who continues to play and sing the blues like no one else can.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "Rare Child" from Danielia Cotton, whose roots-rock sound incorporates a blues flavor.
We play new music from Dan Tyminski, Dick Gaughan, the Pete Best Band, Jenny Reynolds and more.
We also play music from Cream, the Beatles, Kenny Babyface Edmonds, Bobby Rush and more.
We celebrate the birthdays of Arlene Smith of the Chantels, Kelly Joe Phelps, Steve Miller, and Rick Estrin of Little Charlie and the Night Cats.
We include music from Al Green, who will appear at the Reichhold Center on Oct. 11, and music from Barefoot Davis, who will be appearing at October Sunday on Oct. 12.
We give away CDs from Celtic artist Catriona McKay, from alternative folk artist Ani diFranco, and traditional folk artist Mike Seeger.
