Oct. 3, 2008 – The American Advertising Federation U.S. Virgin Islands, formerly the Ad Club of the Virgin Islands, is holding its first luncheon as part of its professional series at 11:45 a.m., on Friday, Oct. 10, at Room with a View.
Commissioner of the Department of Tourism Beverly Nicholson-Doty will give the audience a look behind the scenes at the work going on between Tourism and AAF-USVI's stateside agency, JWT.
Because the stateside image of the V.I. needs to be changed, Nicholson-Doty will speak on what people's perceptions really are and how advertising needs to be repositioned.
