Nurses Association Plans Educational Meeting/Fundraiser Luncheon

Oct. 7, 2008 – The Virgin Islands State Nurses Association will hold an educational meeting and fundraising luncheon at noon on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Palms at Pelican Cove. There will be guest presentations by AIDS Education and Training Center, Organizational Management, Physical Medicine, Infection Control, the P.E.R.B. Public Employees Relations Board and VICARE Free HIV Testing.
The special luncheon speaker will be Ermin Olive, of the Healthy Challenge Committee, Office of the Governor.
Continuing educational credits can be earned, and a grand raffle prize of a paid license renewal will be awarded.
The educational sessions fee is $30; luncheon fee is $40, the meeting and luncheon is $60. UVI Nursing students with ID and retired nurses will be charged $50.
