St. Croix AWC Plans Doggie Wash

Oct. 24, 2008 – Once again the West End dogs will get a spa day at the beach. Calling all dogs and owners, join the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center (AWC) at Coconuts on the Beach in Fredriksted for another West End Doggie Wash.
From noon to 6 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 8, the staff and volunteers of the St. Croix AWC will pamper your pet: a dog wash, ear cleaning and nail trim cost only $15. Microchipping service will be available for an additional $25.
All proceeds will benefit the homeless animals supported by AWC.
To find our more or to volunteer to help, call the AWC at 778-1650 or visit www.StCroixAWC.org.
For more information, call Gretchen Sherrill or e-mail communications@stcroixawc.org.
Founded in 1973, the St Croix Animal Welfare Center promotes the humane treatment of animals in the St. Croix community through education, encouragement and enforcement.
