UVI Hosts Election Night Watch 2008 at St. Croix Campus

Nov. 3, 2008 – The University of the Virgin Islands St. Croix Campus presents Election Watch 2008. Residents of St. Croix are invited to the campus to watch full and ongoing coverage of national and local elections. There will be coverage of the presidential, congressional and senatorial election results.
Election Watch 2008 begins at 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 4, and ends when the last vote is counted. Moderators will include Democratic National Committee Representative Shawna Richards and Attorney Emile Henderson. Presidential election coverage will be held in the UVI Great Hall; congressional and senatorial election coverage will be held in the student center.
The event is sponsored b the Office of the Campus Executive Administrator and the Office of the Associate Campus Administrator for Student Affairs in collaboration with the Student Government Association.
