AAF Luncheon Will Feature Panel on Financial Crisis

The American Advertising Federation – U.S. Virgin Islands Professional Series luncheon will take place at 11:45 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 21, at Room With A View. The United States auto industry is in crisis; DHL lays off 9,500 workers; Starbucks profits are down by 98 percent. That all adds up to one word: recession. How's that going to affect all of us?
The AAF will host a panel discussion, "Facing Tough Times," with Tom Brunt, president of the St. Thomas-St. John Chamber and MSI; Lisa Hamilton, president of the VI Hotel Association; and Cassan Pancham, board chairman of VI Port Authority and executive vice president of Eastern Caribbean Region of FirstBank. They will discuss what is happening and what we can do to address the situation.
The cost to members is $25, non-members, $30.
For reservations, call Austin Advertising at 776-7828.
