It's Not That Things Don't Work, It's That We Do Them Our Way

Dear Source:

I get really disgusted when I see people saying that things here don't work like the states, they paint a pretty picture of customer service in the states and they make it seem that the Vi isn"t up to snuff.
Well; attention k mart shoppers, imagine that someone thinks we should bring the big city down here, they ignore 45 min waits for a seat in a restaurant, they ignore 4-8 hour waits for a drivers license or tag, they seem to forget that the only reason customer service people in the states will even say hello or good day is because they get paid to say it, its usually by rote and they really cant wait for you to blame them for there companies polices that are the reason you are there in the first place.
Now we have our headaches and difficulties but down here we are all neibors, we say good day and smile for no apparent reason, its not that we are proud of what some may perceive to be laziness its that anyone with common sense knows that killing your self for low wages and no benefits is well just silly, now the corporate jerks that run the states will say look at that clerk she took 45 min for lunch instead of 30 min but what they dont say is its interfering with my golf game or my 2 hr lunch.
this is not the states thank you god! in the states the attitude of me first isn"t working incase you haven"t noticed. now we may not be rich and we may change slowly but our attitude is not me first its us first all of us rich poor white black, green red. so
stay in the states enjoy mindless drones doing dull mindless jobs with fake smiles and insincere greetings.
I love the VI bumps warts and all, being here has added 10 years to my life, and the truth is during my 10 min wait for a license I met Mrs. Johnson who grows orchids and told me tips that back in the states someone would be glad to sell me.
