Historical Society Meeting Holds a Special Potluck Supper

Dec. 28, 2008 – The St. John Historical Society will host a potluck supper and senior panel at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Bethany Moravian Church Hall. It will be joined by a group of St. John's senior culture-bearers, and rare recordings of old-time steel pan and Virgin Islands folk music will be featured. This will be an evening full of stories, jokes, food and music, with nothing else on the agenda.
Attendees are asked to bring their favorite potluck dishes in whatever quantity they can manage. No alcohol will be allowed due to the venue. The society will provide the drinks, utensils and paper products. All are welcome and are encouraged to bring along a friend or neighbor to join in as the society kicks off 2009 with some interesting and entertaining stories, wonderful food and good fellowship.
