Orientation and registration for new and transfer students attending the University of the Virgin Islands will be held from Aug. 9-14, on the St. Thomas and St. Croix campuses. All newly matriculated students are required to participate in orientation. The orientation process is designed to enhance students’ academic and social adjustment to college life. There will be activities to acquaint students with rules and regulations of the university, to allow students to explore the campuses, and for students to network among themselves. Students will also meet faculty advisors to develop their class schedules and register for fall-semester classes.
