Public Affairs Program Launched on Government Access Channels

A 30-minute public affairs program, “The Commissioner’s Corner,” will air each week day on the Government Access Channel, Cable TV Channel 6, on St. Croix and Cable TV Channel 10 on St. Thomas-St. John, according to Government House Communications Director Jean P. Greaux Jr., who will serve as host of the program.
Each week, a commissioner, director or agency head of the executive branch will be featured on the program to highlight the ongoing work of their department and to provide viewers and listeners an overview of the functions of the respective agency or department.
The program launched the week of Aug. 31, and highlighted the Department of Public Works. The program that will air the week of Sept. 7 will feature The Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA).
