Addelita Cancryn Junior High School will host an ‘Academic Night for Parents’ at 5:30 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 17, in Café Addelita, according to Principal Yvonne Pilgrim.
“Academic Night has been organized with parents in mind. This activity will introduce and expose parents to the various resource materials that are available for student use across the curriculum and in the classrooms. These materials include software and online access to other learning materials,” Pilgrim said. It is important for you, the parent, to become familiar with these materials in order to follow your child’s instruction as well as be able to assist them as needed.
“As an added bonus, we are serving dinner and refreshments for all participants. We encourage all Cancryn parents to join us as we usher in the new school year.”
