Gladys Roman of Williams Delight died on Jan. 11, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 60 years old.
She is survived by her companion, Jorge Silva; father, Juan Roman; daughter, Yvette Wanda Carrion; grandchildren: Dharyvette D’Paula, Dharyson D’Paula, Ruben D’Paula and Jamal Farrell; great-grandchild, JoVanny R. D’Paula; and sisters: Carmen A. Chaparro, Maria N. Roman and Janine Roman. She is also survived by in-law, Maria Irrizary; brothers-in-law: Carlos Chaparro and Remberto Lopez; nieces; Lourdes, Maritza, Marian, Luchy, Maribel, Mildred, Milly, Aidaliz and Jessica; nephews: Juan Carlos, Remberto Jr., Jimmy and Joshua; cousin and other relative: Secundino Roman and Gertrude Roman; special friends: Edith Longe, Nilda Sanes, Reina Chaparro, Glenda and Arnaldo Nobbie, Luis and Luz Nieves; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 11 a.m. and a funeral service at noon on Friday, Jan. 15, at the Kingshill Chapel. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
