Vincent Alfredo Johnson Dies at 41

Vincent Alfredo Johnson, also known as "Sensie," of King Street died on March 5, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 41 years old.

He survived by his mother, May Agnes Trant; companions: Diana Richard and Claudia Ceballos; daughters: Nila, Dayna and Jayla Johnson; sons: Raheem and Aheem Johnson; grandchild: Zahalia Johnson; sisters: Patricia Urgent, Recarah and Natasha Johnson; brothers: Francisco and Ricardo Johnson, and Nyeim France; nieces: La’Shawn Sweeney, Jenifer Joshua, Trishanie, Shinell and Reniga Johnson, Quashina McIntosh, Requanda Charles and Jalrile Bass; and nephews: N’Rique and Nasir France. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Valicia France; sister -at-heart, Marilyn Ihesha Hodge; aunts: Thelma Trant, Carmen Bastian, Cordelia Johnson, Dorcas Carine and Maude Johnson; uncles: Peter and Ira Trant, and Alvin Johnson; cousins and other relatives: Magella Jr., Rasheed and Malisha Milligan, Midre Cummings, Mizelle Bastian and Monique Alexander; and special friends: Craig Tiger Todman, Courtney Poo Jackson, Kendall Petersen, Sonny Barnes, Lionel Wango Barnes, Joleen Hansen, Paul Payne, Lydia, Remington Lockhart, Akeel Simmons, Sadris Eastman, Shaco Milligan, Papito and Cliff Joey Petersen. Other survivors include friends: Mikey Barnes, Remi, Fya Emblem family, Taina, H&R Super Market, Errol Nelson, the Hospital St. family, Norma Samuel, Karmal Barnes, the Fishmarket and Lagoon crew, Wayne Parris, Erika McIntosh, Maceda McIntosh and Jerrolyn Abraham; other cousins: Carol Armstrong, Cherie Cummings, Edgar James and David; stepfather, Claude A. France; godmothers: Betty Dawson and Hyacinth Harrison; godfathers: Julio Petersen and Federico Williams; godchild, Mc. Maylah Isaac; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
