The Virgin Islands Resource Conservation & Development Council Inc. (V.I. RC&D) is seeking volunteers to continue to help maintain the Estate Adventure Nature Trail and help to build a new outdoor education pavilion and bridge. Interested persons are asked to join them from 7-9 a.m., Sunday, May 16, to complete building the new bridge across the gut to link the two trail spurs, and to mow weeds.
All students seeking community service hours, teachers, hikers, birders, ecologists, researchers and St. Croix nature lovers who want to help restore and expand the nature trail are welcome. Participants are asked to bring gloves and wear clothing suitable for working in the bush, Water, snacks and tools will be provided.
