Education Urges Applicants Interested in Teaching to Submit Documents

Karen L. Blyden, director of Human Resources for the V.I. Department of Education, advises individuals interested in joining the department as a teacher to submit their applications and all required documentation for timely processing.

“The department is in the peak of its recruitment cycle and focused on ensuring that critical positions are filled,” said Blyden. “Interested teacher applicants, as well as those persons who have already submitted documents, are being asked to ensure that their completed applications and all requisite documentation are in order to finalize the process.
“The Education Department’s Human Resource Division accepts clients from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The offices are located at 1834 Kongens Gade, St. Thomas, or Vitraco Mall, Plot 10, Orange Grove, Christiansted, St. Croix,” she said.
