Brief: VIPD Recovers Cache of Stolen Property

This VIPD photo shows just some of the items recovered.Recent burglary victims interested in reclaiming stolen items are being urged to contact the V.I. Police Department. According to a VIPD release, the St. Thomas Zone-A Burglary Unit has recovered a variety of items believed to be stolen during burglaries that may have occurred within the last month in the district of St. Thomas/St. John.
According to the release, the items include cell phones, binoculars, jewelry, digital cameras and other miscellaneous items.
Recent burglary victims are being urged to contact Lt. Sylvia Penn at 340-775-5509 or 340-715-5548.
Proof of ownership is required before any items are released to the public. That can include police reports, receipts, photographs, descriptions of the items, serial numbers or a description of any other identifying marks that could be found on the items.
