Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help

Crime Stoppers is asking your help to solve the following crimes. If you know something, say something. Even information that seems insignificant may be just what law enforcement needs to solve these cases.

St. Croix:
On Feb. 3 at about 8:30 p.m., 31-year old Gary Gonsalves and his 16-year-old nephew, Charlesworth Gonsalves Jr., were shot and killed in the Mutual Homes Housing Community. Please tell us who was involved, along with any vehicle information you remember. The minimum reward for an arrest is $2,500.

St. John:
Police are requesting your assistance with a burglary that occurred on May 5 at 36-56 Virgin Grand Estate. The suspect entered through a door while the occupants were at home. A green-and-black backpack was taken, which contained a U.S. passport, driver’s license, HP laptop, Lumix camera, iPod Shuffle, cash and credit cards. The minimum reward for an arrest is $714.

St. Thomas:
Recently there has been an increase of burglaries in the areas of Altona, Estate Thomas, Solberg, and Anna’s Retreat. These burglaries are happening during the day while the residents are away. Items taken include jewelry, money and electronics. The minimum reward for an arrest is $714.
