Women's Coalition Race Set for June 13, Registration Is Ongoing

The Women’s Coalition of St. Croix will be celebrating its 26th annual Women Race at 5:45 p.m., Sunday, June 13, in Frederiksted. There will be certificates awarded to teams, and awards also will be given to the schools with the fastest team and with the most participants. In addition, a gift certificate of $250 will be awarded to the school with the most participants towards their athletic program (minimum of 25 participants).

Participants are encouraged to pre-register for a fee of $15, which includes a T-shirt. Registration on race day will be $20. Girls age 14-and-under can register for $1, which does not include a T-shirt.
Pre-registration begins on Wednesday, May 19, at the Women’s Coalition office from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays located at No. 7 East Street. Also, registration will be held there from noon to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 12.
Registration will also start on Wednesday, May 19 at Closet to Closet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays located at No. 15 Peter’s Rest. It will end at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 12.
Special pre-registration will be held on Saturdays, June 5 and 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at these locations:
· Florence Williams Library, Christiansted
· Frederiksted Post Office
· K-Mart, Sunshine Mall
· K-Mart Sunny Isle
· Stamina Sports
And at FLEX from 5-7 p.m. on Thursdays, June 3 and 10; Curves from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 2 and 9.
