Catalina Felix de Ruiz Dies at 81

Catalina Felix de Ruiz Catalina Felix de Ruiz, also known as "Cata," of Estate La Grande Princesse died on June 1, at her residence. She was 81 years old.

She is survived by her spouse, Victor Ruiz-Lanzo; daughter, Ana Ruiz de Morales; son, Ruben Ruiz Felix; grandchildren: Carmen M. Ruiz, Linda I. Ruiz, Victor R. Ruiz, Lisa M. Magras, Ellen Magras, Deborah L. Jack, Marisol L.R. Somme, Vanessa Magras, Angel L. Ruiz, Eric A. Ruiz, Shirley A. Ruiz, Luis E. Morales Jr., Carols R. Morales and Jose M. Morales; great-grandchildren: Melissa Rodriguez, Andres Rodriguez, Nico Ruiz, Avonte Ruiz, Shaniece Ruiz, Shaina Ruiz, Shaliyah Ruiz, Shanais Roman, Shaya Roman, Luis A. Roman Jr., Jahnesta Ritter, Elijah Ritter, Malachi MacCow, Arthur Hector Jr., Nia Jack, Mya Jack, Walton Jack III, Somalia Suber, Troy Somme Jr., Naailah Somme, Naaimah Somme, Adhay Charlemagne, Adejah Charlemagne, Indya Magras, Luis Morales III, Caliana Morales, Carlos Morales Jr., Tanayka Morales, Derek Morales, Jose Morales Jr., Januelle Morales, Nicole Encarnacion and Joel Gonzales; and great-great grandchildren: Yasmin Scalzo and Adam Scalzo Jr.
She is also survived by daughters-in-law: Dariel and Lydia Ruiz; son-in-law, Luis Morales Sr.; sister, Carmen Felix de Roman; brother, Basilio Felix; special nieces: Eloisa Rivera, Adelina Santana, Provi Torres and many more nieces; sisters-in-law: Ana Celia Felix, Ana Aleman, Lydia Ventura, Artemia Santiago and Luz M. Reyes; brothers-in-law: Beato, Hipolito and Jose Santiago; special friends: Aida Ayala, Valeria Rodriguez, Ivia Rivera and Maria Rivera; and many more friends and relatives too numerous to mention. Special thanks go to the Hospice Care staff.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, at Iglesia Hermanos Unidos En Cristo Alpha Omega (Strawberry Hill). Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
