Guillaume Questel, known as “Ming,” died Sunday, July 4, at his residence. He was 78.
He is survived by his daughter, Sylvia Davis; brother Francisco Questel; sister, Lucia Questel; granddaughter Monique Daniel; great grandchildren Darryl and Shyann; nieces, Sylvia and Jennifer; great nieces and nephews Joshua and Jamal Lettsome, N’Khyla Archibald, Chanel and Carlos Greenwood and Love Kingl; caregivers Louise Questel, Jimmy Magras, George Greaux and Hermia Alcide; sister in law, Gladys Questel; god-children Martel Questel. Louise Questel, Louise Colbourne and Carol Greaux; special friends Delores Magras, Jessica Magras, Anthony Cerge, Raymonde Sanchez, Lillian Greaux Ralph Danet, Armour Quetel, Bishop Elliott Thomas, Cardinal Sean, Ella Analley and Franklyn and Betsy; and many other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Western Cemetery No. 2.
