Khiry J.I. Crooke, 21, also known as “Tweetie,” was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery.
According to the police, Crooke, an Estate Frydenhoj resident, was arrested around 3:05 p.m. Thursday for robbing a 16-year-old male victim near the ballpark area in Estate Frydenhoj. Police said as Crooke and another male approached the victim, they pushed him to the ground and assaulted him by punching and kicking him. During the assault they robbed him of his cell phone and cash.
The victim refused to seek medical attention.
Bail for Crooke was set at $75,000 and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
