Mothers at Heart is inviting all members of the community to join them in their second peace march to be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14. The group will meet at the Reichhold Center Parking Lot near the main road and then march to John Brewers Bay. Positive banners and signs are welcomed, and all are encouraged to dress in white.
There will be welcoming and closing remarks. A Lapiz Para Oracion (Instrument of Prayer) will be offered at the water’s edge and the event is planned to close at 7 p.m. It will take the village to heal our struggling community. The Virgin Islands is blessed to have so many healers, nurturers and people of big hearts. Mothers at Heart invites everyone to join together to meet and greet, and determine how we can all help, one person at a time. The group is urging mothers at heart: anyone who nurtures — mothers, sisters, girl friends and the men who support them — to become a strong healing force for peace in the community.
