Tickets are now on sale for HOPE’s Tenth Biennial Gala, “A decade of HOPE,” slated for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort and Spa, St. Thomas. The gala and auction will raise funds for a much needed chronic disease prevention and treatment clinic in the Virgin Islands, which specializes in heart disease, diabetes, obesity and HIV.
Dr. Denzil Douglas of St. Kitts and Nevis will be the keynote speaker, and the honoree will be Delegate to Congress Dr. Donna Christensen. HOPE Inc. will also be paying tribute to members of the first board of directors: Dr. Margaret Sprauve-Martin, Simon Caines, Roberto Caraballo, Taetia Dorsett-Phillips, the Reverend Jefferson Niles, Jacqueline Meade and Jocelyn Gouboum.
